Fallout 3 could be one of the most anticipated games of recent times, and for good reason. Initially, the development of the now defunct Black Island studios under the project codename Van Buren, Fallout 3 was originally going to take a totally different route. But in 2003, Black Isle Studios went under, and in 2004 the rights for Fallout 3 were sold to Bethesda Softworks. Instead of using the Van Buren code, Bethesda opted to start from scratch. And so was born the Fallout 3 we know and love today.
Fallout 3 development process of four years was well worth it as it is a post-apocalyptic RPG with Bethesda styles everywhere. The game is massive epic, and find everything on your own will be a daunting task indeed.
